1. Cleaning Your Watch (Maintenance)

  • Daily Care: Wipe your watch with a soft cloth after wearing to remove dirt and oils.

 

  • Deep Cleaning:
    • Use mild soapy water and a soft toothbrush.
    • Gently scrub the watch case and bracelet.
    • Rinse thoroughly under running water.
    • Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

2. Avoiding Chemicals

  • Avoid prolonged contact with harsh chemicals in order to maintain the integrity of the seals.

3. Magnetism

  • Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers or some electronics) to maintain optimal timekeeping accuracy.

4. Water Resistance

  • The Arabic Date watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters), making it suitable for everyday use, including hand washing, rain, and short periods of recreational swimming.

     

  • However, it is not designed for diving, snorkelling, or high-pressure water activities, as these can exceed the tested limits of the watch.

     

  • Ensure the pull-out crown is securely pushed in to maintain water resistance.

1. Temperature Exposure

  • Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, as this may affect performance over time.

2. Shock Protection

  • While your watch is built for daily wear, we recommend avoiding hard impacts or drops to protect the internal mechanics.

3. Regular Service

  • To maintain peak performance and longevity, we recommend having your watch professionally serviced every 3–5 years. This includes cleaning, movement checks, and resealing.

Storing Your Watch: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place. Use the original box or a watch case to protect it from dust and scratches.

Use Caution with Pull-Out Crown: Always handle the crown gently. Do not pull out or push in the crown forcefully, as this may damage the watch’s mechanism.
